Huawei has announced the Huawei Mate S at the IFA in Berlin this year. The Mate S has a complete metal body. It looks premium with its 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. The bezels are very thin and the slight curve at the back promises to make the Mate S, comfortable in the hand. The Huawei Mate S has a 13 MP camera at the rear, equiped with dual tone LED flash and optical image stabilization. It has 8MP camera on the front. The fingerprint sensor at the back can be used to activate the shutter, apart from unlocking the mobile. The Fingerprint scanner technology is an upgraded version from the chip in Huawei’s Mate 7. New to the Huawei Mate is the Force Touch technology which can sense the pressure on the screen and allow the user to interact with the UI elements, like zooming on a picture or browser. It has 3 builtin mic for clear voice recording and sound recording in videos. The Huawei’s availability in India is not known.
